We are happy to let you know that since the inception of Techno India Group Public Schools (TIGPS), 4 students of TIGPS Siliguri- Ms. Chirosree Ghosh, Ms. Anandi Das, Ms. Simran Singh, and Ms. Oindrila Chakraborty (from left to right- in the attached picture) along with Mrs. Mira Bhattacharya, Chief Academic Coordinator-North Bengal Schools, have been nominated to participate as jury members in Salam International Youth Film Festival 2019 at Azerbaijan. This is a very prestigious event on our part as the Ambassador of The Republic of Azerbaijan himself has nominated TIGPS Siliguri from entire India to be a part of the Film Festival at Azerbaijan. Our students and Mrs. Bhattacharya will be the esteemed guest of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and will represent India on a global forum. This is indeed a moment of great pride and honour of Techno India Group.
On 05.08.2019, Techno India Group Public school Bolpur students participated in the India Spelling Bee competition National level after qualifying with great results at school and regional level. It is a matter of great joy and pride for the entire techno family that ABHYUDOY BASU of class 8B secured the 3rd position after competing with learned students from different parts of our country like Delhi, Mumbai, Madurai, Chennai, Varanasi, etc. 1100 schools from all over India participated in the regional levels and 28 schools qualified for the National Level. TIGPS Bolpur also had the highest number of candidates qualifying for the National Level, i.e.3.
The competition was of seven rounds and difficulty level was quite a standard one. Abhyudoy's performance and achievement is thus truly appreciable and commendable. Kolkata, 19th July, 2018: It’s a moment of pride for Techno India Group to announce that ‘Alliance Francaise du Bengale’ for the very first time ever since 1940, has decided hand-in-hand with Techno India Group to expand its verticals outside Kolkata, West Bengal and spread its branches amidst the suburbs of North Bengal. The memorandum signing between Alliance Francaise du Bengale and Techno India Group followed the grand announcement. This association is indeed like ‘another feather added to the cap’ of the honourable Managing Director of Techno India Group, Mr. Satyam Roychowdhury whose constant guidance and support has made this alliance possible. As rightly said, ‘full of the joys of spring’, we are very glad to promulgate that Techno India Group Public School will be starting the French language courses from 23th July, 2018 and in view of this, Alliance Francaise du Bengale has supported our initiative of starting the courses with a native French teacher. The event was graced by Chief Guest, Mr. Damien Syed, Consul General, Consulate of France in Kolkata and by Guest of Honour, Mr.FabricePlancon, Director, Alliance Francaise du Bengale, Mr. N.K. Singh, Director, Techno India Group Public Schools and Dr. Summauli Pyne, Head – International Relations & Outreach, Techno India Group at the Park Hotel, Kolkata along with the newly arrived native French teacher, Ms. Jenny Germain. The association is the opening move to start an International School of foreign language across all schools of Techno India Group and introduce other foreign languages along with French in due course of time. Other than English, French is the only language spoken in all 5 continents. Students all over Bengal would be introduced to this important foreign language and culture which will enhance their prospects in higher studies and give them an edge over others in terms of employment opportunities in national and multi-national organizations. Techno India Group has been successful in launching its youngest marvel project, Sister Nivedita University which has been formed keeping in harmony the preaching of Swami Vivekananda and the teachings of Sister Nivedita. The University offers courses in various disciplines and enriches the thought of ‘Education for All’. Under the umbrella of Sister Nivedita University, we are all set to commence with the International School of Foreign Languages where all major languages around the globe will be taught and all students will be given equal opportunities to learn and explore the horizons of a new language.
